The Pottery Café is an established ceramic painting studio based in Halifax town centre

Our brand new venue is a relaxing haven away from the hustle and bustle of the world! We can comfortably accommodate 40 people.
You can paint, eat and drink in serene surroundings and let your imagination run free with your piece.
You don't have to be super artistic to come and enjoy a session, we welcome customers of all ages and abilities!

We offer baby handprints on pieces of your choice, we even do doggy prints!
We have a huge range of pottery (bisque) for you to paint, from plates, cups and vases to figurines, tea light holders and plaques...
We provide everything you need to create your own unique and very special piece of art.
Staff are on hand to help you every step if the way or let you fly free with your paintbrushes, sponges and writing tools if you prefer.

Coming in 2025:
We will be introducing pottery throwing classes, create your very own piece from scratch using a potters wheel!
Clay sculpting classes, and air drying clay model sessions are also being introduced.

We do not charge any hidden booking, studio or firing fees - the price you pay is on the item you choose to paint!

We also host events such as psychic nights and live music. Get in touch if you are looking for a different type of venue to hold an event. Our Capacity is 75 people.
