The Pottery Café is an established ceramic painting studio based at Shaw Lodge Mills in Halifax.



Our bright and airy studio comfortably seats 24 people with an additional, larger room available for use for larger events and groups. We have a huge range of bisque (partially fired, unglazed white ceramic) from cups and plates to more elaborate pieces such as money banks, unicorns and racing cars. We provide everything you need to create your own unique and very special piece of art.



Staff are on hand to help you every step if the way or let you fly free with your paintbrushes, sponges and writing tools if you prefer.



We are linked with the Mill Playcafe and so are delighted to be able to offer you a wide range of delicious food and drinks and also entry for your children into the play area either before or after your pottery session. Children not taking part in the pottery session are able to pay to play as normal.



Special sessions will be advertised leading up to all important holidays and we advise booking early for these extremely popular activities.
